Sales Manager* Automotive
Tasks that will support your personal growth:
Identifying and analyzing the direct competitive environment in day-to-day business operations as well as coordinating across segments and departments with the technical sales team
Supporting internal and external global networking in the customer and market environment
Continuously maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers
Planning and conducting initial meetings/presentations with potential customers
Targeted development of accounts, including cross-selling
Continuous maintenance of customer contacts at both technical and management levels
Conducting and managing the sales process (especially for non-standardized inquiries) and participating in or leading negotiations with the customer
Developing the annual business plan and creating planning and forecasts within one's own area of responsibility, deriving sales goals within the responsibility area, and defining operational, short-term sales measures
Reporting and interpreting defined KPIs
Taking on project management tasks for medium to large projects
Your skills that will help us to get ahead:
Completed technical or business studies or equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in sales (3-5 years), preferably in the automotive sector (or comparable B2B experience)
Fluent English skills, also in technical areas - additional foreign languages are advantageous
Communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to work and self-organization
Increased willingness to travel and driver's license Class B
A high degree of goal-oriented, customer- and solution-oriented thinking and acting
Knowledge of relevant IT tools (CRM, MS Office)
The role can be located at any European EDAG office.
