Commercial Vehicles – Competence in Arbon

Commercial vehicles are expected to meet far more stringent requirements than passenger cars.

Ideally, these vehicles are very long-lasting, easy to maintain, use as little energy as possible, are highly efficient and environment-friendly. As a result of digitalisation, increasingly specialised concepts and serial solutions are being called for, and since 2003, these have been developed by EDAG Engineering Schweiz in Arbon.

The specialists there are proud of their new commercial vehicle chassis 2.0., which is geared to the Lego principle. In effect, the commercial vehicle manufacturer can take his "construction kit" and configure unique vehicles for different drive systems – from diesel to fuel cell – and applications.
